Tell me about your All About Me site. What are going to be your 4 main content pages? Why did you choose those topics? What big plans do you have for your site that is going to make it different and creative?

My All About Me site is all about me! My four main content pages include my family, friends, school, and hobbies. I chose these topics because those are the things that make up my life as a whole. I plan on inserting pictures of myself, my family and friends, and my favorite activities.

What are your thoughts on HTML code? Did you enjoy the coding activity? Do you feel like you learned anything? Explain yourself.

I think I learned quite a bit about HTML codes. I actually enjoyed the activity, because it made me feel really intelligent. It's a little confusing at first, but I think once I learn and really grasp the codes, I think I'll be able to understand it better. It's not too incredibly difficult to figure out, just a little confusing at first.

Tell me about your three day weekend. How was it? What did you do? Elaborate!

My three day weekend was spent in Liberty, MO with my sister and my best friends. It was a great weekend! I stayed up for 24 hours strait on Friday night, slept in Saturday day, and that night was spent with my sister at my mom's old house. As was Sunday and most of Monday. Liberty is my home. Overall, my weekend was pretty good!

Tell me if you agree with this statement and then explain why or why not. "Images on the internet are 'free game' - if someone posted it, I should be able to use it."

If there is an image on the internet, then yes, you can use it. However, if you use the image, then you MUST cite it, and cite it correctly. If you do not cite the image, then no you can not use it, that would be plagiarism. But, if there is an image on the internet and you use it and cite it correctly, then yes it is "fair game".

What do you know about plagiarism? What do you know about plagiarism on the internet? Do web design, the internet and plagiarism all effect each other? Explain.

Plagiarism is using someone else's work or information from a book or website, without permission or correct citation. Plagiarism is very common on the internet because there are many websites you can use to access other people's work and use it as your own and/or download it. Plagiarism can also be identified as turning in past assignments for newer ones, such as a high school assignment being turned in as a college assignment a couple of years later. However, there are websites, such as turnitin.com which search uploaded documents with other documents on the web site and link them together, giving the author and the professor/teacher a clear percentage of how much of the paper was similar to other works. Yes, web design, the internet and plagiarism do all affect each other. The internet has made plagiarism very easy to do, with websites specifically for using other people's works.
